When we receive a neat and tidy e-mail, with spaces between paragraphs, and with no more than three paragraphs, and each one consisting of one or two sentences, it is very easy for us to read and respond to. So do the same when you are writing an e-mail, and for the exact same reasons. It is easy to read, to re-read, and to reply to. As yet, there has never been a Nobel literature prize been awarded to an e-mail, so don’t try to win the first. So make sure your email has a beginning, a middle and an end, and make sure your sentences describe this, with one subject, one verb, and one object for each one. Nobody has ever complained that an e-mail is too easy to understand! From now on, when you’re writing an e-mail, make sure it is as plain and as straightforward as possible!
